It has always been a main focus for us to train our employees to be polite and courteous, even when the Quizno presentitive was our store to grade us on the “star” system (I don’t think they use it anymore), he said our store by far, comparedy to many Quiznos, we were the best in customer service. Even though we were honoring the coupons in the beginning, our sale did not increase much, most of them were shown as ” comp” item. In addition, we have many repeating customers here, and those customers who brough in the coupons are the ones we never seen before. That goes to tell us, without the coupon, more than likely, they will not return.

It’s good that this promotion has helped few of us to increase in sale, but for many of us, it’s nothing but frustrations……

    Mr. Kemp,

You are kidding right? I have the top selling Quiznos in my area with the highest customer satisfaction rating in the area. My store is clean, customers are taken care of and all Quiznos has done is take money out of my, and most, franchisees pockets. Enough with the coupoons, enough with the overpriced food. enough with the BS from Quiznos corporate. When we get overrun with BOGO coupons, free coupons and my discounts are over 20% what the hell do you expect to pay anyone but Quiznos and your food supplier with. Come into the real world of Quiznos and see what the MAJORITY

Echoes of the past from the Subway experience. Get your own food council started and get control of the ad fund and decisions made. You guys at Quizno’s are about 6-7% behind industry food cost standards, and that is why you are hurting on the bottom line. I have studied several food franchises in this QSR, I know. That is what TSFA is supposed to help with; if Q corporate gets into serious trouble, what will you do? get organised NOW for this eventuality. You can make it, Subway franchisees did !

My store makes money. . But I should be doing better… I work my butt off yet I a barely make a profit. I delivery and push catering like crazy. I personally got all my catering business. Quiznos marketing should being in people through the door but it doesn’t. The reality is that Quiznos is in the business of selling food and services. Therefore their business model conflicts with the franchisee buisness model. The food is good.. But the business model for trhe franchisee just doesn’t work.

Sorry, too close to reality. I’ll laugh when (p)Rick is finally gone and we have someone running the system who understands how to market a PREMIUM sandwich shop and treats the franchisees as partners.

Everyone in this sandwich QSR should be on the $5 marketing bandwagon by now. This is the new value expectation level in the industry and everyone is jumping in at that level.
According to NRN, Subway has seen same stores sales increase an average 17% in 2008. I have seen some stores over 40%, in a bad economy.

Ride the $5 wave folks, it is good for everyone

Quiznos Corporate is the most under handed and deceptive company that I have ever seen are heard about in the franchise food industry.

It has come to my attention that they are nothing more than dishonest LAW firm that happens to sell sandwich franchises.

They have attorneys working around the clock to amend and design their Franchise circular, and their FRANCHISE AGREEMENT AGREEMENT to be able to take as much and as frequent monies from their signed in franchisees as they see fit.

Their entire opportunity is really a SCAM and if you really have interest you need to have Quiznos make available the Circular, Franchise Agreement and their tricky operations manual for at least a 2 week study, and investigation by your private personal contract attorney of choice. Also I am attaching this letter by a previous Quiznos franchisee for everyone that could be interested in Quiznos as an Investment: Please read this with much seriousness and respect towards the person that wrote it.

    ——————————————————————————————————-

Life goes on and we pass through

Days of sunlight days of tears

It’s the way life comes to you

    Foolish wasting precious years

I am not a fool. My wife is not a fool

I even refuse to call myself gullible. I am not a gullible. My wife is not a gullible

We trusted in Quiznos. They promised us success, help and everything else to get us to buy into the

“dream” they were selling. They had a private secret unannounced agenda! To trap you and screw you,

    the franchisee!

We are not fools. But, we have been fooled

We are like so many others who also bought into this dream and lost a substantial portion of their life’s

    savings.

Countless individuals and families have been destroyed. Even some lives have been lost

I have struggled hard and did the best I could to create a voice for the franchisees in the system and to

create a “support system” for the franchisees, which does not exist, and to fight the injustices of this

franchise system (Quiznos). Not to bring the system down, but only to make it fair.

I hope my efforts will not go wasted. I hope the government will look into the systematic deceitful

business practices of this franchisor. A serious investigation must be undertaken

    It’s been a tough battle

I have been dragged through the legal system for over 18 months by the immensely superior financial

might of the franchisor, which will continue to keep justice from coming to me, and to the hundreds

and thousands of franchisees who are trapped similarly in the system and are slaving for this

franchisor, and those who have bought into the franchise agreement, and not yet become store

    operators

I have spent and sacrificed my time, money, family life. I thought of an option to leave the system

quietly and fade away, but now I choose not to do that, and instead let the struggle go on

My struggle will continue after my sacrifice.

Some one must do something about what Quiznos is doing to the trapped franchisees. Everything they

do is in their own self interest, with utter disregard for the interests of the franchisees, to who they sold

the “dream” and put into business, only to screw them systematically from day one

The press and the media must bring out the atrocities Quiznos is carrying on with.

In this franchise system the Franchisor has all the rights and no duties or obligations, whereas it is just

the opposite for the Franchisee, which is the franchisee has no rights, no remedies, only obligations

I have not been able to think well, eat well, for the past one month

My health has been going down very fast

My mental capacity, to think, to work, and carry on my daily activities normally, is severely

    diminished

I cannot survive like this much longer

Quiznos has killed me. Destroyed my life. Destroyed my family life for the past seven years

It has been a harrowing experience. We just could not get out of it. All doors were shut

    Can some one stop this?

Can the government stop this Quiznos from destroying peoples lives? They have defrauded me and

they are defrauding people. See my law suit (complaint) how they defrauded me from the very

beginning, and then continued their systematic defrauding through out the period, until we left

They retaliated against me for trying to create a voice for the franchisees in the system

We were abused, we were manipulated, we were exploited,

I deeply regret getting in to Quiznos. I wish I had never heard of them

    Can the media stop this?

CNN we need your help. Nancy Grace, please help! Glora Alred? Who else?

KTLA, LA Times, OC Register Please

How can a common individual like me and those like me in similar circumstances, there are thousands,

    with limited resources get justice?

I believe there will be justice. But it will be too late for me.

There are a large and growing number of us who believe, unreservedly, that the handful of people who

own and/or otherwise control the Quiznos Corporation should spend the rest of their lives in prison.

The Quiznos Corporation is just one of the most egregious in what they do, but the entirety of

franchising in America is open to this kind of abuse. The IFA (International Franchise Association) is

the umbrella entity that, along with individual Franchisors, has enough money and power to buy the

legislation that protects the Franchisor, and exploits the Franchisee. Fair and just legislation, that

would level the playing field, never sees the light of day. Senators and Representatives, primarily

Republicans, continue to sell hard working Americans down the river. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY

FROM THE QUIZNOS CORPORATION. THEY ARE CRIMINAL IN WHAT THEY DO. And treat

any Franchise System with deep suspicion

To whom this may concern, my name is Michell and I visited the Quiznos located on Airport and Stought. On my visit the service was so slow and I was late for work because there was a bunch of customers in the store and only one
employee working. Then on my next visit in the morning their was only two employees working and a load of customers and the service was even slower. On a next day i went there in the morning the employees were wearing no hair nets and there was one guy there who wraped my sandwich without any gloves and i found a hair in my sandwich after i had left and went to work with my sandwich to go. I and totally and completly unhappy with the service that i have recieved at this quiznos and because of this i will never eat quiznos ever again.

Many of these stores where simply over leveraged. Financing was easy to get and large loans along with a boom in real estate creating higher monthly loan and lease payments. When the bottom fell out of the economy and everyone had to scale back, those with high loan payments and high monthly lease payments lost. Many franchises grumble and complain and try to pass blame to the franchisor for their loss or lack of forecasting their own business.

William, you are kidding right? You must be if you think this is the only reason that Quiznos stores struggle or are failing. I was not over leveraged when I started and took great pain not to over leverage. My career has been in banking and finance and I know the paid that comes from it. The main issue has always been the over priced products and services Quiznos mandates that a franchisee use. The main cause of this is the food cost which can NEVER come close to what you are told you must achieve. When you add in the horrific marketing programs they have you can’t succeed. You can always find equal quality and less expensive products and services from the mandated items.

Also had a Quiznos, no loan at all, great location, still closed because we were losing too much money. The problem is not enough sales. People no longer want to pay that much for a sub.

Why do they have those weird commercials? They are using cats now. I don’t see any marketing advantage to doing this. Are they targeting a younger people? I don’t get it. Its almost like they did acid before they made the commercials. WEIRD STUFF!

sigh….they just keep coming out with those coupons and this time, they actually printed the address on the coupons, therefore, the customers will automatically think we will take them.

Give us a break and stop printing those “free lunch” coupons, it’s already hard enough to keep the door open, let alone losing more money at the same time……
