CHERRY BLOW DRY BAR Secures Prime Manhattan Location
Cherry Blow Dry Bar has announced that the company has secured a prime Manhattan location for its first company-owned salon in the U.S.
Cherry Blow Dry Bar is the brand-new incarnation of the Australian Blow Dry Bar chain, founded by Nathan Cuneen.
A press release distributed by Cuneen states that “Cherry Blow Dry Bar estimates to open 10 locations by the end of 2013.”
The company appears to have scaled back its aggressive growth plans since the March, 2013 announcement, on NathanCuneen.com, that “hundreds of Cherry Blow Dry Bars [are] scheduled to open in coming months across the United States.”
UnhappyFranchisee.Com has posted concerns about the aggressive franchising rollout of the Cherry Blow Dry Bar concept, which has no established track record in the U.S., as well as troubling allegations being made by current and former Blow Dry Bar operators in Australia.
