That means that Wing Zone franchise owners, some of whom may have collateralized their franchise loan with their house or other personal assets, were unable to repay their loans 65% of the time despite having a very serious incentive to do so.

The Wing Zone Franchise has a failure rate of 65% for SBA-backed franchise loans

Another red flag is the fact that Entrepreneur data indicates that Wing Zone domestic franchises have been closing and the Wing Zone network has been shrinking at a concerning rate.

In 2008, there were 90 Wing Zone franchises in the U.S. according to Entrepreneur.  By 2012, according to stores listed on the company website, that number has shrunk to 54, a decline of 36 franchises or 40% of the total number of operational U.S. Wing Zone franchises.

  • I was threatened by the manager of the wing zone in Dayton Ohio on airway blvd, my food was out on delivery for over 30 minutes, I got terrible, cold food and for 45 bucks I called and asked for my money back and wanted to return the food as we didnt eat it. The manager yelled at me told me I wasnt human, then hung up, I called back and told him I would come up there with the food and I want my money back, He then threatened to call the police on me for wanting to return my food, This is completely unacceptable and this man should not own a store, I was told the manager is the owner and this is what is representing this company. I personally will NEVER EAT WING ZONE EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE, I will not give money to a store that threatens people for their bad quality service. You could be giving away free food daily and I still wont eat it anymore, B-Dubs all the way baby from now on, Wing Zone can kiss my money goodbye

  • The Saddle Brook NJ store is filthyThe tables are dirty floor dirty garbage receptacle filthy. Washed my own table down while 2 workers are outside kicking around a soccer ball.
Not returning here. If the front end is disgusting I can imagine what the kitchen looks like.

  • At the beginning of 2016, I wrote a letter to the CEO of Wing Zone complaining about their Saddle Brook, NJ franchise. I never heard back!!!! I realized back then, that the Saddle Brook franchise, and eventually the Wing Zone company, would go under. As of this date (March 2017) the Saddle Brook franchise is no longer there and the Wing Zone company is experiencing a high failure rate, according to the SBA. It all starts at the top people. Our family used to order from Wing Zone every Friday night, but if the CEO doesn’t care about lousy service and filthy franchises, how do you expect their customers to keep coming back. PS: They had the nerve to send me an invitation to purchase one of their franchise. Thus the reason for this comment.

  • There is a store in Mary Lake, FL that is for sale for $30K… after reading the comments on this page, now I know why the selling price is way too low!!!!!
