  • Roy Snowden’s house was listed was listed on Yahoo! as being in “pre-foreclosure” back in august, 2010. He was due to be released from prison in October. Anyone know the status?

    Here’s the link: http://realestate.yahoo.com/Florida/Navarre/pritchard-point-dr:c8bc39c31a0f0e72afcf38f48670eb

    Bed(s): 4 .
    Bath(s): 5 .
Foreclosure Status: Notice of Default (Pre-Foreclosure) .
    Sq/Ft: 6,814 .
    Age (years): 14 .
Date listed on Yahoo!: August 07, 2010

This home is in “pre-foreclosure”. The owner is in default. As this is the period prior to the home lapsing into official foreclosure, the owner and lender are both interested in avoiding that costly scenario. Buyers are often able to find great deals here. This is a 6,814 square foot home with 4 bedrooms and 5 baths. We believe the home to worth approximately $1,095,000.

  • Roy Snowden purchased this home in Navarre quite a long time before Java Jo’z.
Between ridiculous uninformed posts like this and the incessant name-calling and fit-pitching that goes on here, this very real dilemma has basically become a free for all and is losing serious consideration.

God says: None of us are in a position to judge another man’s plight or his level of remorse.

In elementary school, my teacher used to say… If someone hits you or hurts you and you start kicking, screaming, calling names and hurting back, you’ve basically handled it and I can’t have much sympathy for you. BUT… If someone hurts you and you restrain yourself and ask me for help, you’ll get it.

Everyone knows… You can’t squeeze blood from a turnip.

  • So ex-convict tax evader Roy bought his multimillion dollar house with the proceeds from running exploitive teen magazine sales crews insead of the proceeds from defrauding Java Joz investors?

    Thanks for the clarification.

  • Not so fast, “guest,” you still don’t get it. Of course you don’t; you’re “guest.” The only clarification that’s been made here is that you are yet another “guest” who hides behind “guest,” as you attack real people, coughing up the same old hairballs as all the other “guests.” So redundant!

Thank YOU for the clarification, “guest.”

What’s your point Sofree? That this ex-con deserves a multimillion dollar luxury house because it was paid for by mag crew money he didn’t pay taxes on? And is now in default? Who would take the time to defend the extravagent lifestyle of a convicted criminal? Maybe your him himself. Or maybe your his lonly ex cellmate. if so, dont worry he’ll probably be back soon.

  • I worked for that clown world media internationals rot in hell

  • I was one of the magine sales man hes a crook and deserves life behind bars we worked 60hrs a week slaving for some fucktard making him rich what a snake in the grass

  • I worked for this guy 20 years ago for about 3 months and still remember his name and have been looking for him ending up in prison because he was a shady, crooked, abusive scumbag that took advantage of teenagers. I was so happy with the advent of the internet that I knew eventually this loser would end up the way he did. Unfortunately slippery snakes like this will always find some other hustle and I’m happy at least he took to swindling adults with his coffee house rather than impressionable teens from broken homes so maybe in Roys’ next venture he’ll get it right and stop living off the backs of others. Gonna be an uphill battle though having to work for something now that was so easy to just steal in the past. Good luck old boy I’ll be watching for your next headline.

  • Should have mentioned, magazine sales was his current scam when I worked for him when I was 16 in 1991 or so.

    **knocks on door**
BS Sales pitch we were told to use:

Me: “Hi I just stopped by for you to *vote* for me”!

Homeowner: “Oh sure I’d love to vote for you kid. You look just like my grandson”

Me, pulling out hidden order form tucked into my back: “Great, you vote for me by spending $120 on some magazine subscription you can get for 30 at any convenient store. And if you don’t want it I’m sure you have a son or daughter that would love this as a give. And who makes the decision around the house anyway, your husband? We know who’s boss right lady”?

Homeowner: “Well that sounds like a horrible deal but since it looks like you haven’t eaten in a few days I’ll go ahead and buy one anyway”. Still not sure how I’ve really voted for you and I feel your immediate intention to mislead me should send up some red flags to what’s really going on here but what do I know”?

I swear most of the sales were probably from pitty and even on my best day where I probably sold 10-12 subscriptions (which is a ton especially for what we charged) I never made more than enough just just pay for 3 meals. I eventually stopped eating most meals for a few weeks to save enough $$ to buy a bus ticket home, finished highschool, joined the Army, paid for 6 years of college, and now have a house about the size of Roys foreclosure on a private golf course. And I won’t be losing mine anytime soon and I definitely don’t need to look over my shoulder to see if someone like me, 20 years later, is still waiting to find me in some dark alley or bar for a change to even things up.
I watched Roy’s “thugs” he kept around as bodyguards hold down this kid from Detroit that was complaining about Roy and the work and his sales numbers sucked, and they were yelling and Roy kicked him in the face like a bitch (the first few missed). This guy was probably 20 I’m guessing but was held down, got his ass kicked, with the hotel door open so we could all witness (cause we didn’t want none of that) and then threw his stuff outta the hotel in some random state (I think PA or NY probably). So many cool people I worked with there I hope they all learned some life lessons and found success.

I worked for Roy and Pam Snowden and then Kimmy when he divorced Pam and married Kimmy. Kimmy used to be one of my car handlers. I won the contest 2 times and the 2nd contest, he didn’t pay out. That was when I knew that he had changed for the worse in 1999. I loved Pam and thought Roy was a hard ass. I worked for him from 1994 til Sept 2001. I saw 44 states. I am grateful that I had the chance to travel the USA and to find myself.

  • Sherie

Wow he married Kimmy…car handler, babysitter and ad runner…..wow….but I too liked Pam. I was actually on another crew…Steve Kowalski’s crew…..but it got dismantled and Roy and Pam offered to take us in! This was in 1992 I BELIEVE!

  • Watch out everyone. Roy Snowden is back to selling whose knows what on Amazon. I just saw this on his facebook page.

  • Leon Antoine Lewis

Hi my name is Leon, I am trying to find people on a magazine crew I was on back in the late 90’s. Car handler named John (I believe american indian), his girl Christina Cote, girl named Boon, cool guy named Ryan, and a few more people but cant remember their names. Hit me up if you were from that era… [redacted]

  • Hellen
