AMWAY IBOs: Why Everyone Hates You

Amway IBOs (Independent Business Owners) can’t understand why everyone hates them.

(UnhappyFranchisee.Com) Amway IBOs, if you think everyone outside of Amway doesn’t hate you, read through some of the thousand comments on IS AMWAY A SCAM?

It’s clear you’re in denial.

If you are an Amway IBO, you are no doubt thinking:  Not everyone hates me.  My friends don’t hate me.  My mother doesn’t hate me.

Trust me, they hate you too.  Or will soon.

In fact, unless you are a complete newbie, your friends are gone.

Amway scamThe friends you had before you contracted MLM have been replaced by the pod-people Ambots, your brothers and sisters in mutual self-delusion,  who pretend to be your friends for the same reason you pretend to be theirs:  the futile and desperate hope of financial gain.

You look at your fellow Ambots and see their blow-dried and balding noggins as stepping stones in your climb to the top of the pyramid.  That’s not friendship.

The reason that everyone in normal society hates you is not because they’ve been brainwashed into slaving for a weekly paycheck.

It’s not because they are too stupid or lazy to unlock their inner millionaires by spending thousands of dollars on motivational materials and seminars.

It’s not because they have been deceived by those negative nellies who just make up lies about Amway or the modern mental illness known as MLM or MultiLevel Marketing.

The reason everyone hates you is contained in this story we just received by MtBiker89.

MtBiker89 writes:

So I live in Colorado and I went mountain biking last weekend and I met this fellow rider. We rode together and I thought to myself. “hey look I made a new friend”

Well I was wrong! After the ride he asked me for my phone number so we “can go riding again.”

I gave him my number and told him to shoot me a text when he wanted to ride with me and my buddies.

Before I left the trailhead he stopped me and said “hey man I think you are very smart and you have really good dreams, can we have coffee tomorrow?” I was like alright man. Well the next day we met at this coffee shop and then he started to talk about Amway. Basically using the excuse that I don’t have time and that my job was eating it so I couldn’t follow my dreams because of my job.

He said that it wasn’t a scheme and that it really works. He showed me a few videos and talked more about it and basically said yes for me because he was making plans for me to join his group! Anyways he went on saying that he makes tons of money and that his friends also do it and they are rich and I can become rich too.

He said that you’re not going to need a job after you join Amway because you are gonna have so much money and that it was gonna be so easy!!

Well during that meeting he gave a few CDs and told me to return them to him once I was done. I said okay.

Today we were supposed to meet so I can return the CDs.  I’ve already said no to him via text message because I talked to my fiance and my family and they said it was a bad idea.  He replied back saying “you don’t know what you are saying no to”

Anyways he called me saying that he wasn’t going to make it and that why i didn’t want to join and I said personal reasons. Well the man started to said I was making the wrong decision and bashing my dreams saying I will never make it without Amway and that I was gonna end up broke with no job.

He also started to bash my fiancé and family saying that they don’t know what they are talking about and that they are negative and liars.  Seriously?

I told him to F*** off and to never contact me again! Seriously these people need to get a grip.  Why tell me you don’t need a job, yet you are working for a roofing company? What a liar!

These people are very pushy and reading all this comments seem to confirm what my family said “joining Amway is a bad idea! Stay away from it and run away!”

I’m glad I made the right decision!

Amway IBOs:  Most of all, they hate you because you just read MTBiker89’s story, and you still don’t understand why everyone hates you.

  • I have a very strong retail business.

I talked to people about products and online retailing.

I agree there are negatives but Amway Corporation is a very successful company and its nice to have exceptional product support for my business. My consumers and my affiliates. The negatives are the big seminars, rallies. Books and tapes that people get pressure to buy and in the end make very little money because they are in a different business.

Being strictly associated with Amway Corp as a great supplier to run my business has been great for 20 years for me. Tools systems eventually drain people out of the business. The retention is in people retailing quality products and showing others to do the same. Money is made and growing their business/ info or help and assistance to do so comes from the Corporation. Not a so called book and audio seminar system.

The real Business like any Business is in retailing and showing others how to do the same. The purity of any business is having a good supply to meet demand. Amway meets that demand for many like me who run a healthy customer service business. When you duplicate who you are you eventually have a good business monthly/ annually

My boyfriend and I dated for just about a year. I am self employed with a degree is business, he manages a bar.

Lately I’ve noticed many products from “Amway” coming into our house. At first I thought it was nice for him to pick up beauty/ household products for us, until I realized how terrible these products were. I started breaking out, getting skin infections, and suffering from severe dry skin. Not to mention the vitamins wasn’t good to my digestive system.
it may not even be the products as I’m senstive to everything and I grew up high end skin care so my taste for skincare is pretty developed.

Anyways. Whenever I told my boyfriend about my troubles with these products, he got overally butt hurt. His sensitivity on these products rose my suspicions.

I’ve found out later her has been sneaking to conferences and trying to sell Amway products. I would be ok with it if he just told me- I have years of experience as an entrepreneur and started my company from nothing. He later told me he was ashamed as he looks up to me.
They have been isolating him, telling him to work harder. He comes home and gets mad at me because he isn’t doing enough. He drives my car and he lives in my luxurious downtown loft, and it kills him he isn’t successful yet, and apparently it’s his fault.

He dumped me because his “mentor” told him if he is going to be successful, he needs to make sacrifices now. He needs to focus on the dream of wealth and nothing else. I don’t share the same dream as him because I don’t want to retire at 25. I don’t want to become a millionaire by being a sales rep.

I feel bad for him, for all the effort he is putting into this (buying books, quitting his job, losing friends) he could’ve started his own business or used the same effort to bring him closer to his dreams. I made $3000 profit on my first month, he has 75 people in his downline and he is only bringing in $175 a month. I wonder how much his up line is making off of him.
