However, one had to make an appointment far in advance when it started, and during the winter there was always the chance my friend and I would have to cancel. I understand nothing is cheap anymore, but the price was so high! I think the idea was aimed at bored rich housewives lolling around in their McMansions, but it turns out there were no housewives. Women had to be out working to pay the mortgage and childcare, and certainly had no time to drop in and whip up a gourmet feast.
