I DIDN’T PURCHASE AND WOULD NEVER PURCHASE ANY C&O PRODUCTS

The Ocala Star Tribune reports that

OCALA – This week two of the biggest retail stores at Market Street at Heath Brook silently opened their doors.

Friday afternoon, excited and bewildered shoppers marched into DSW Shoes and Old Navy happy that their anticipated openings had come. Both stores opened Thursday, but Old Navy customers wondered why there was no fanfare, advertising or notice about the opening. There was only a white, roadside billboard on State Road 200 with a list of the stores opened.

Many storefronts throughout the retail and restaurant development are posted with signs of what’s to come. They include:…

* Cork & Olive, a try-before-you-buy wine and spice store. The opening date is unknown.

WHAT’S THE STORY? IS CORK & OLIVE STAGING A BOLD COMEBACK? IF SO, WILL THEY SUCCEED?

  • All former employees, just be careful what you do. Super German could use the law to twist what you do. Be cautious don’t harass him. Maybe just go in everyday and taste, don’t buy. Lots and lots of tasting. Don’t forget the sip and dip. Lots and lots of tasting and eating. Have fun, at his expense. I am sure you wouldn’t want his “cooked” lousy wine. It has been siting in the stores under the lights. YUCK.
Still can’t imagine someone dumb enough to give him any money.

I was told….gift cards will be honored at all stores sept 1 – sept 30 only. then they will no longer be valid.

The spin is on. Appold has concocted a management agreement to ease people into getting screwed. You get to assume the bad lease, the bad wine in inventory, pay all expenses, pay for inventory as you sell, pay a monthly fee and do what they say THEN you keep the crumbs.

So far, the Oldsmar & South Tampa investors have pulled out. Brandon is being managed by the Valrico franchisee locked in a scrupulous deal.

There is no communication still with the franchisees and a complete refusal to enter a forum of negotiations.

The clock is ticking on the October 1 creditors hearing.

They will be exposed for what they are.

  • what???????

listen wolf – you have no friggin idea about the communication – I DO KNOW THERE IS COMMUNICATOIN -stop spreading rumors! and the investors have NOT pulled out so there! get yer facts straight before posting please.

The operators who were identified by the corporate office to open Oldsmar (The girls) and South Tampa (Wolfgang) have rescinded. Thats FACT.

In the process, another adversary is aligned with the Overwhelming majority of the franchisees.

Time is running out What??????, you know it.
